Tattoo studio helps raise thousands to help local children’s hospice

A tattoo studio is earning praise not just for its artwork but for its commitment to helping others.

The Krypt, based in the centre of Cleckheaton, helped raise more than £5,500 for the Back the Builds raffle in support of the Children’s Hospice.

The studio donated a tattoo session as the raffle’s top prize, helping attract widespread support from across the region.

The Krypt team said: “We’re so proud to have been able to offer this space for people to connect and unwind.

“We’re already looking at ways to host more free wellbeing workshops in the future – watch this space.”

In January, the studio also hosted a wellbeing workshop funded by the Jo Cox Foundation.

The weekly sessions focused on canvas painting and provided a much-needed outlet for those taking part.

The Krypt has quickly become a valued part of the Cleckheaton community for its blend of creative work and meaningful outreach.
