Firm expands by moving to Bradford district after 10 years of success

A growing technology consultancy has relocated to a historic site.

West Yorkshire-based True9 Limited has moved to Salts Mill in Saltaire, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, following ten years of success and expansion since its founding in 2014.

The company, which was previously based at Croft Myl in Halifax, was founded by Chris Richardson and Martin Taylor.

Chris, co-founder of True9, said: “Salts Mill was built on the idea that how you treat people matters.

“That still feels relevant to us, and it’s a big part of why we chose it.

“It reflects how we want to build our business, helping people and businesses genuinely thrive.”

True9 works with clients across the UK to modernise digital platforms and help businesses regain control of their technology.

The consultancy operates a flexible, remote-first working model, but chose Salts Mill to offer its team a collaborative environment.

The new office is designed as a space for collaboration, not obligation, with some team members choosing to work onsite each week and others remaining fully remote.

Alongside the move, True9 has invested in its team and brand.

The firm recently celebrated its 10-year milestone with a refreshed identity and new website.

It has also strengthened its leadership team, appointing Chris Nicholl as strategic growth director and promoting Tabitha Fogarty to lead delivery manager.

The senior team is based in West Yorkshire, with many staff also living near Saltaire.

Martin added: “After more than a decade building the business, moving to Salts Mill felt like the right next step for us.

“It gives us a space that better reflects how we work as a team, while still keeping us rooted in West Yorkshire.”

The company is now recruiting for a delivery and QA specialist.

Chris said: “We’ve always focused on building a strong team and creating an environment where people can grow with the business.

“Strengthening our leadership and continuing to bring in new talent is a big part of that.”

From its Saltaire base, True9 supports mid-sized businesses in sectors such as professional, technical and scientific services, manufacturing, and beauty and fashion.
