Bantams extend deal into 15th year while Morrisons backing also continues

Bradford City have announced the continuation of their long-term partnership with Smith Butler, as it heads into a 15th year.

The Bradford-based accountant firm’s commitment to the club will see it continue as an associate club partner and executive box holder at Valley Parade for the 2024/25 season.

Having first become affiliated with the Bantams in 2010, Smith Butler has continued to support the club through the sponsorship of both physical and digital assets at Valley Parade.

Formed over 20 years ago, Smith Butler is a team of accountants handling all things accounting and tax related – from basic bookkeeping to complex tax planning.

They provide a full advisory service to its clients across the region and throughout the UK. Their clients vary from independent painters and decorators to large limited companies.

Jason Butler, Smith Butler director, said: “We are very proud to be partners with the club, as both myself and Sally (Smith-Butler) have been big fans since we were kids.

“Being a partner with the club has assisted our business over the years as it has enabled us to get our company name in front of thousands of people and businesses, which in turn has enabled us to achieve our continued growth.”

City’s commercial manager, Michael Shackleton, said: “We are delighted to be taking our partnership with Smith Butler into another season.

“As close friends of the club, they have been affiliated with us for well over a decade, representing their commitment and dedication to supporting us as much as they can.

“Partnering with Bradford-based businesses is something which forms a huge part of our commercial strategy, and we welcome the backing from such a successful organisation.

“I would like to thank Jason and Sally for their continued support, and am looking forward to the next year of our partnership.”

Meanwhile, main club partner Morrisons are also back on board for next season.

They will continue in that role, as well as carrying on their sponsorship of the Family Stand at Valley Parade, for the 2024/25 season.
