Bradford Means Business and the Telegraph & Argus were delighted to once again bring you The Bradford District Business Awards 2026.
For the first time, we were proud to announce a new partnership with York St John University, our headline partner for the year, and we thanked them for their invaluable support.
This was an opportunity for local businesses based in the district to shine, giving businesses, their teams, their customers and potential new customers the chance to see them at their best. It was also a moment to reflect on what had been achieved over the previous 12 months and to give themselves a well-deserved pat on the back.
Business awards were more than just a trophy in the cabinet. They were a testament to doing a good job, reassurance that customers had chosen the right company to work with, and a source of pride for staff in the organisation they worked for.
For us, the rewarding part was judging the entries alongside our sponsors, highlighting those who were shortlisted and then celebrating the winners. We told their stories in supplements such as this one and online, reaching more than 80% of adults across the district who read our content in print and online.
The winners were announced at our gala dinner on Thursday 9 July 2026 at Bradford Live, Bradford.

The sustaniability award was presented by Professor Brendan Paddison from St John’s University York and was won by Quality Freight Services Ltd 
The Professional services award was announced by Anna Sari 
The SME award was announced by Graham Sweeny from Schofield Sweeny solicitors and was won by 24hour Heathcare 
Employer of the year was announced by Colin Roe from Powell UK Ltd and was won by Bradford College
