An NHS trust has exceeded the national average in patient-led assessments.
Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust outperformed the national average in all areas of the 2025 Patient-Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE).
The assessment reviews cleanliness, condition, appearance, and maintenance, food and hydration, dementia and disability support, as well as privacy, dignity, and wellbeing.
Paula Ottley, head of estates and facilities at the trust, said: “We are delighted with this year’s results, which show that we are performing above the national average in every area assessed.
“These scores reflect the continued hard work and commitment of our staff to provide safe, clean, and supportive environments for the people who use our services.”
Both inpatient sites performed exceptionally well, with Airedale Centre for Mental Health achieving 100 per cent for condition, appearance, and maintenance, and 99.79 per cent for cleanliness.
