A GENEROUS Bradford businessman is helping to spread joy among lonely people over Christmas.

Imran Khan, owner of IK Collections, is inviting those who feel they need some company into his store for refreshments and friendly chat.

People can just walk in to IK Collections at 164 Westgate from 1.30pm until 5pm on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays.

Imran said: “Anyone in Bradford who may be feeling lonely can visit us any time over the Christmas period.

“It’s a chance to come in and sit down with us for a tea or coffee, some lovely cake and delicious biscuits in the surroundings of our wonderful shop.

“It’s also an opportunity for people to have a friendly chat if they want to. It’s all free – we’re always really keen to try and spread some happiness.

“Giving something back to the community is really important to me and everyone else here at IK Collections, so we look forward to seeing people.”

He thanked Starbake Patisseries in Bradford for providing cakes for the initiative.
