Sandwich manufacturer described as a ‘real Bradford success story’ by MP

A food manufacturer has been described as a “real Bradford success story.”

Judith Cummins, MP for Bradford South, praised Tiffin Sandwiches following her recent visit to the company’s headquarters and production facility on Commondale Way, located on the Euroway Industrial Estate.

During her tour, Ms Cummins met operations manager Luke Tetley and head of operations Hazel Jones, and spoke with staff about the company’s growth plans.

Mr Tetley said: “Judith’s visit was a great opportunity to showcase the pride our team takes in the quality of our products, and to share our exciting plans for expansion and job creation as we continue to invest in Bradford.”

Tiffin Sandwiches supplies millions of sandwiches and ready-to-eat products to more than 4,000 locations across the UK, including a major UK airline and the Houses of Parliament.

The company recently secured approval for a 50,000 sq ft expansion, which it says will bring hundreds of new jobs to Bradford.

Ms Cummins said: “Tiffin Sandwiches is a real Bradford success story.

“The pride and professionalism of the team were clear to see, and their continued investment in our area – from job creation to protecting local nature – is hugely positive.”
