Top 100 Bradford businesses to be revealed in new report

An annual Top 100 business report for the district is being launched later this month – for the first time.

LOCALiQ, the digital marketing arm of the Telegraph & Argus, is working with the University of Bradford’s School of Management and Bradford Council to bring you the first-of-its kind analysis.

Using data gathered from Companies House, the University has created a special set of parameters to calculate which are the top companies in the area.

This will be the first time the report has been compiled using this process and the results will be unveiled at an invite only event at the University at the end of June.

The definitive guide will detail every one of the 100 companies for 2022 and rank them in order, providing an annual record of the best in Bradford.

It will also highlight the top companies in such sectors as manufacturing, food, small and medium enterprises, and professional services.

In addition, the report will shine a light on new firms making a mark, as well as those to watch out for in the coming 12 to 18 months.

Steve Lowe at LOCALiQ, which is part of the Newsquest Media Group, said: “The report will be published in both a glossy guide format with copies being given to the top companies, plus copies that we will use for events, the University will have in the business school and the business team at the Council will have copies to use at investment events.

“We will also publish the report in full in the T&A so everyone in the district can read all about the great local companies we have that call Bradford home.”

Those on the list will be contacted in the next couple of weeks to be invited to attend the breakfast event in late June, an event that will be by invitation only.

The Top 100 event comes just three weeks before the T&A hosts the annual Bradford Means Business Awards, which is being held at Walton View Hotel.

While the venue may be different, the awards for 2023 will still be celebrating the best businesses in the district in the past year.

They aim to celebrate success, recognise achievement and highlight the innovative people and companies throughout the district.

Tickets to attend the awards are limited and are available now at store.newsquest.co.uk.
