A pet hair laundry solution is marking a decade in business.
Barnsley-based brand Vamoosh is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a major retail milestone: a launch into 600 Target stores across the United States.
This marks the company’s largest international expansion to date.
Founded in 2016 after co-founder Tom Abbey struggled to remove pet hair from laundry, Vamoosh created a patented Pet Hair Dissolver that dissolves both pet and human hair in the washing machine.
In the last 10 years, the company has sold 10 million sachets and is stocked in more than 5,000 UK stores.
It also operates in more than 30 international markets and has seen export growth of 440 per cent in the past three years.
David Mahoney from KindComms said: “The anniversary also reflects how the brand has evolved from a single hero product into a broader problem-solution household brand spanning laundry, appliance care and fabric solutions, with continued NPD planned as it enters its second decade.”
