Propel Healthtech West Yorkshire is calling on innovators with healthtech solutions to apply for its accelerator programme.
It is open to early-stage and scaling organisations with solutions for the NHS, offering business support, regulatory guidance, and access to NHS networks.
The programme has secured £4.5 million from the West Yorkshire Mayor’s Investment Zone.
Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire, said: “The first priority of our Local Growth Plan is to boost our region’s fastest-growing business sectors because we know that’s how we’re going to drive investment, create jobs and put more money in people’s pockets.”
Dr Neville Young, director of enterprise and innovation at Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber, added: “Thanks to the funding from the West Yorkshire Mayor’s Investment Zone, over the next four years we can support even more healthtech innovators to develop their cutting-edge solutions in the West Yorkshire region, improving health outcomes and contributing to economic growth.”
