Bradford tailor giving away over 500 free blazers this Christmas

A BRADFORD-based tailoring firm is giving away more than 500 blazers to those in need this Christmas.

IK Collections, located on Westgate in the city centre, is keen to help charities and disadvantaged families in West Yorkshire.

The business will be offering a range of different colours and sizes to Bradford, Leeds, Harrogate, and Wakefield over the festive period.

Owner Imran Khan has invited those interested in his gesture to come down to his shop and try the blazers on.

He said: “I have gone out of my way to give away over 500 blazers.

“There are in a lot of sizes. Many of the schools have been taking them. The colours we have got left are black, brown, royal blue, purple, and green. They are really good quality. These are from the factory and are worth around £60-£80.

“Part of being a Muslim is giving back to your community. It will be fantastic for people to wear them for Christmas.”

IK Collections has made suits for a host of high-profile names including Keighley-born fundraiser Captain Sir Tom Moore, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn and Dancing On Ice judge Christopher Dean.
