The categories

Hospitality Venue of the Year: This award is for the best restaurant and/or bar in the district. Do you offer great service, keep the offer fresh, work to keep customers coming back, and create a great place to visit? Whether it’s the food, the drink, the entertainment, or all of these, what makes your venue the place to visit?

Retailer of the Year: This award will recognise any retailer, large or small, independent or national, that is making a big noise in the district. Branches of national companies should enter as a store. The judges will be looking for evidence of what sets you apart from the competition, either in terms of your achievements, best practice, customer feedback, or staff involvement.

Beauty Salon of the Year: Do you offer a great experience in the hair, beauty, or cosmetic sector? Do you have happy customers who come back time and time again? Judges will be looking to find out what puts you ahead of the rest and why you are the best in the district.

Hospitality Hero: Are you a hospitality superstar with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude, always going above and beyond to wow your customers? The judges want to see glowing reviews, heartfelt feedback, and real examples of how you exceed customer expectations that keep guests coming back for more.

Customer Service Award: Do you or someone in your team go above and beyond to offer fantastic customer service? The judges are looking for clear evidence of customer service excellence. You may include reviews, feedback, testimonials, or any other evidence of the types of activity that puts a smile on your customers’ faces.

Hotel/Leisure Venue of the Year: Who delivers the ultimate hotel or leisure experience in the district? From must-visit attractions and exciting activities to relaxing getaways, we want to know who stands out as the best. The judges are looking for somewhere that goes above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience and truly sets the standard across the district.

Team of the Year: Teamwork is what makes any business a success. Do you work in a great team or do you have a great team in your company that you think deserves to be recognised? Judges are looking for how, as a group, you achieve the goals needed to run a successful retail, leisure, or hospitality business in the district.

New Business of the Year: Have you started a new business in the Bradford district within the past two years? If so, this award could be a great opportunity for you to highlight and celebrate your progress. Judges want to hear about your great idea, solid plan, and how it’s going in your first year.

Retailer Personality of the Year: This award celebrates outstanding individuals in retail who demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation, and customer engagement. The award recognises those who positively impact their team, customers, and the industry through exemplary dedication, creativity, and passion.

Bar/Restaurant of the Year: This category honours the district’s finest food and drink venues. We’re looking for places that deliver exceptional flavour and service, with that special something to excite the taste buds and make the experience truly memorable.

We look forward to seeing your nominations!
