Applications for the next series of the BAFTA-winning Race Across the World are currently open.

BBC One is looking for people from the North to apply for the show, which will see selected participants travel through some of the world’s “most beautiful and varied locations” on a restricted budget.

With the show’s focus on navigating through thousands of miles without the reliance on modern technologies, participants will travel through dynamic cities, visit ancient wonders, and learn new customs and traditions.
