Aldi funds 50 new apprenticeships at nurseries including Bradford locations

ALDI UK has partnered with childcare provider Partou to fund 50 new early-years apprenticeships.

Under Aldi’s Apprenticeship Levy gifting scheme, more than £300,000 will be transferred to support the new roles at Partou, which operates more than 100 nurseries across the UK, including three in Bradford.

The initiative is part of Aldi’s wider pledge to transfer £2 million of unused levy funds to support a range of apprenticeships in settings such as nurseries, care homes, healthcare and trades.

Simon Booth-Liddle, head of people experience at Partou, said: “We are immensely grateful to Aldi UK for their kindness and generosity which will enable us to deliver 50 new apprenticeships around the country.

“These are key roles in our nurseries.

“Whether just starting out or ready for the next career step as an early years professional, Partou’s Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years apprenticeships offer hands-on experience, expert guidance and the pathway to make a real difference to young lives every day.

“We are also starting to focus on Level 5 Early Years apprenticeships.”
