Bradford firm has expansion plans that will allow it to ‘adapt to future demands’

A BRADFORD company has submitted plans they say will allow it to “adapt to future demands of the business.”

Sigma Group, based at the Euroway Industrial Estate, has applied for planning permission to build a new storage building, arguing that their existing facilities are “nearing full capacity.”

The 375 square metre building would be constructed in a yard area next to the large existing building.

The application says: “Sigma Retail Solutions deliver complete retail and commercial solutions across logistics, display, project solutions and building services.

“The proposed building will be used for storage of GNFR (Goods Not For Resale), since the company has identified a clear and urgent need for additional onsite storage space, as a result of an increase in throughput and existing facility nearing full capacity.”

“The proposed development would support the ongoing operations of an established business and local employer. The proposed ancillary building will allow Sigma Retail Solutions to adapt to growing current and future demands of the business, helping to promote further economic growth.”

A decision on the application is expected in August.
