Ms Rebecchi said: “I am honoured to be appointed Chair of Cynergy Bank at such an important time for the organisation.

“I am passionate about building strong, ambitious businesses that deliver value for customers and colleagues alike.

“I look forward to working with the Board and leadership team to support Cynergy Bank’s ongoing success and future ambitions.”

Customer engagement remains a key priority for Ms Rebecchi, who regularly attends industry events to speak directly with customers about their experiences.

Her approach aligns with Cynergy Bank’s ‘Human Digital’ approach, which combines personal service with digital innovation.

Ms Rebecchi is also committed to building on the bank’s recent success and engaging all stakeholders to deliver on its promises.

Nick Fahy, chief executive officer at Cynergy Bank, said: “Kim’s appointment reflects her exceptional leadership experience, strategic insight and deep understanding of the banking sector.

“She has made a significant contribution to the organisation already and will be an outstanding Chair as we continue to deliver on our long-term strategy.”

Her appointment highlights the growing representation of women in senior roles within financial services.
