Thorite, the UK’s largest distributer of compressed air and pneumatic products, has its National Distribution Centre in Bradford where at any time there will be thousands of different products waiting to be shipped directly to customers or to the eleven Sales & Service Centres. Keeping track of all these products is a massive job which, at the very least, involves a comprehensive knowledge of logistics and stock control.

Employing people with these talents is absolutely key to the smooth running of the National Distribution Centre and we are delighted to be able to welcome Martin Jones as the Warehouse Manager and Charlie Brown as Warehouse Supervisor who have both joined us from one of the UK’s largest car-part stockists where they performed similar roles.

Martin, who lives in Leeds and is as enthusiastic Liverpool FC supporter, has made a career in warehouse management and has extensive knowledge of stock control systems. As the Warehouse Supervisor, Charlie, a former professional rugby league player for Leeds Rhinos, will be responsible for maintaining stock-and-pick accuracy and for ensuring that orders are fulfilled on time.
