THE boss of a Bradford company which has won the Haulier of the Year award for 2020 has spoken of his pride in his employees.

Neil Rushworth, managing director of Expect Distribution, was speaking after the firm won the top prize at the Motor Transport Awards, which were held virtually last month.

Based at Staithgate Lane, the family owned and run business was able to capitalise on a successful year in 2019, providing the foundations for a strong 2020.

Prioritising a contract logistics approach, Expect aims to provide each client with a solution that is customised and uniquely suited to their situation.

Mr Rushworth said: “It’s the people that make Expect the company that it is today. I’m proud of each and every individual for the passion and professional nature with which they do their work.

“When I ask our customers what it is that they value most from Expect they often say that it’s the personal approach from the Expect team that helps them feel valued.
