Adults in Bradford are being offered new training courses to boost their job prospects.
Skills for Work, Bradford Council’s training service, is launching new entry-level courses this September in customer service and business administration.
Councillor Andrew Judson, portfolio holder for economy, regeneration and planning at Bradford Council, said: “It is important that people in our district have the chance to learn new skills and get ready for work.
“These courses will help residents improve their job prospects and develop the skills local employers are looking for.”
The customer service course focuses on communication, confidence, and professional behaviour, while the business administration course covers office skills, customer support, and organisation.
Additional opportunities are available in digital and data skills, including a new Level 3 data course equivalent to an A Level.
The courses are open to Bradford and West Yorkshire residents aged 19 and over, whether unemployed, returning to work, or seeking to upskill.
Classes take place at Britannia House in Bradford city centre, while most courses run for around 25 weeks, with one two-hour session each week.
