Electric car charge points planned for another Bradford KFC

ELECTRIC car charging points will be installed at another KFC in Bradford.

This summer the take-away giant announced that it would be installing electric vehicle charging points in the car park of its Odsal branch.

And now an application has been submitted to Bradford Council to install two points at the Ingleby Road KFC branch.

The planning application, by InstaVolt Ltd would see two rapid electric vehicle charging stations installed in the restaurant’s car park, along with associated equipment.

A decision on the application is expected in January.

Bradford stalling on electric car infrastructure

It is the latest application by a Bradford business to install charging points for customers, as the push to improve infrastructure for electric vehicles increases.

Permission was recently granted for EV charges at the Quora Retail Park.

West Yorkshire Combined Authority is in the process of installing 20 EV charging points at different locations across the district.

So far points have been installed in Vicar Lane and the car park for the new Sedbergh Leisure Centre.
