A new apprenticeship scheme is creating career opportunities for young people in a growing and adaptable industry.
G&H, a mechanical, electrical and public health services provider headquartered in Pudsey, has launched its 2026 apprenticeship programme, offering pathways into roles resistant to automation and artificial intelligence.
Paul Churchill, development manager at G&H, said: “From day one, apprentices join G&H as full-time employees.
“They are mentored by experienced colleagues, gain hands-on experience and, if based on site, are exposed to a wide variety of tasks across live projects.”
Apprenticeships available in the scheme include building services craftsperson, electrical, and building services engineering technician roles, all based at G&H’s head office.
Amelia Armitage, a project engineer apprentice, said: “Six months into the role, I still feel incredibly fortunate to work in an exciting, fast-paced industry.
“I’d encourage anyone with a passion for starting a career in construction to check out the G&H 2026 apprenticeship opportunities.”

The scheme boasts a more than 96 per cent completion rate and offers full-time employment, mentorship, academic qualifications, and a competitive salary.
