Passion Project

SPEAK to Admir Zenkovic, manager of Hunters Estate Agent in Bradford, and you’re speaking to a man of passion.

Passion for his work; passion for his community; and passion for his city.

As he approaches the third anniversary with the company, his passion and enthusiasm has not diminished. He is justly proud of the fact that Hunters in Bradford has built up an enviable reputation as an agent, for sellers and buyers, as well as in the lettings market.

Despite the feared ‘Brexit Effect’ on the house sales industry, Admir says that they have not suffered.

“I know that some areas and agents have seen a downturn in sales and lettings, because of the uncertainty of Brexit, but, if anything, we are busier than ever. Our business is growing steadily, and I believe we are one of the fastest-growing businesses in Bradford.

“We have a good team at Hunters, and this is reflected in the working environment and in their productivity. The staff are happy to provide that extra service for customers, so that they are benefiting as well.”

Admir Zenkovic, manager of Hunters Estate Agent

“We have seen a lot of change lately, within sales and the lettings market, as well as Brexit, but we have an exceptional workforce which, I believe, is part of the key to our success.

Admir is clearly a man who enjoys his work. He is closely involved with his staff, listening to their ideas, fostering a positive atmosphere, and delivering monthly reports to keep them all informed.

He sees them as all working together for the same goal – happy customers and happy staff. This means building up a portfolio of good houses; good clients; good tenants; and good landlords.

“We try to make sure that everything runs smoothly for everyone, but, if something does go wrong, we deal with it quickly. We hope that we have a reputation as an agent that cares about the people they work with; that we offer good value; and that nothing is too much trouble.”

The sales team at Hunters Estate Agent, Bradford

Admir sees Hunters as part of the fabric of the city – serving Bradford and the surrounding areas for the foreseeable future.

There has been a targeted investment in technology, staff, and training, with the branch being fully accredited to deliver on-site and external training, ensuring that all members of the team are fully qualified.

The branch now employs six members of staff, with two joining the team in the last couple of months.

But it’s not all about commerce.

Admir is very aware of the company’s responsibility as part of the community. They sponsor local football teams, and recently took part in a Hunters staff versus suppliers charity match, raising more than £2,500 for the Nikki Waterhouse Trust.

“I think it is important to give something back,” says Admir. “We’re always keen to do more, and to be involved in Bradford’s regeneration. We do a lot of networking with other companies, because by working with other businesses and organisations in the city, we can build a better Bradford.”
