Retrospective plans for food trailer are submitted

RETROSPECTIVE plans to keep a food trailer on a car park off Little Horton Lane has been submitted to Bradford Council.

A.U.B Grill is sited on a car park at 407 Little Horton Lane, at the junction with Park Lane – but was established on the site without planning permission.

But Havre Marden has submitted a retrospective application for the siting of a food trailer.

A decision on the application is due to be made early next month.

Bradford Council’s Environmental Health team have raised concerns about the application and how the business could impact on people living in neighbouring homes.

An officer said: “The applicant has not provided any information on how they will control noise, odour or waste generated from the fast food van. There is a potential for noise and odour transmission from the operation of outdoor catering, I have concern that noise from employees and customers in addition to cars visiting the trailer on the carpark could potentially generate complaints.”
