See what Bradford-based company will be appearing on Avenue shirts next season

BRADFORD (Park Avenue) have announced a Shipley-based company as their new shirt sponsor for the upcoming 2020/21 campaign.

The James Mae Group is comprised of three businesses; Projects, specialising in construction works, Industries, who design and manufacture robotics, and Refrigeration.

The group’s logo, which replaces last year’s sponsor Utilita Energy, will appear on the front of both home and away shirts. This will also apply to all academy jerseys.

Created in 2014, all three branches, who employ 72 full time staff in total, are based at their purpose built 30,000 square foot facility on Thackley Old Road.

Earlier this month, the club said they were reverting back to a home shirt of green and white after signing a three-year deal with kit manufacture Macron.

Avenue football operations manager Calum Cullen said: “We are delighted to have The James Mae Group on board with us. They are a very successful Bradford-based company, and their desire to be involved with Bradford (Park Avenue) speaks volumes about our club.

“Whilst speaking with Edward (Caffrey, MD of the company), it became very clear that Bradford (Park Avenue) is a club close to his heart, and we look forward to a great 2020/21 season with him and The James Mae Group.

Caffrey added: “Bradford Park Avenue Football Club holds a special place in my own personal life as previously I lived facing both the old ground and the current Horsfall stadium before eventually leaving Bradford.

“I may live in York now, but I am Bradford born and bred, and I came back to the city to start my company.

“When the opportunity arose to sponsor this great local team my Shipley-based company, the James Mae Group, were more than pleased to be able to play some part at this fantastic football club.

“The James Mae Group is proud to be onboard. We are looking forward to the 2020/21 season and we wish all the teams every success.”
