Tattoo studio plan approved by Councillors

RETROSPECTIVE plans to run a tattoo studio out of a Greengates house have been approved by Councillors.

Bradford Council’s Bradford Area Planning Panel voted to allow the application, by Shaun Keating for 138 New Line, at a meeting in City Hall on Thursday.

The property is a two storey detached house, an area of which is used as a tattoo studio.

Members were told that 22 people had objected to the plans, raising concerns ranging from parking for the business near the busy Greengates junction and the disposal of needles.

Mr Keating told the committee that there would likely only be one or two people visiting the business each day, and it would not lead to any significant amount of extra traffic.

Members voted to approve the application.
