Yorkshire Team Celebrate Rapid Growth

2019 was a fantastic end to the decade for Armstrong Watson’s Yorkshire team, with significant growth across the region, including a raft of new appointments, major new business wins and an increase in audit fees of over 19%.

The business continues to go from strength to strength, with rapid expansion throughout the past 12 months and new service lines added to the firm’s ‘full service’ offering, which along with accounting, audit and tax, also comprises; strategic business advice, restructuring recovery and insolvency, forensic accounting, corporate finance, funding solutions, financial planning and wealth management, and payroll.

12 new starters joined the Leeds, Skipton and Northallerton audit team – increasing resource by over 30% on 2018 – and 8 colleagues were promoted.

New services for Armstrong Watson in 2019 included partnering with Escalate Dispute Resolution – providing clients with quick settlement dispute resolution and removing upfront costs – and the very recent launch of Client Technology – offering accountancy/finance ERP solutions and cyber security health checks and advice.
