‘It looks fantastic’: New Co-op store has opened its doors

A NEW Co-op store opened its doors today.

Located on Wyke Old Lane in Bailiff Bridge, the 3,000 sq ft convenience store has created 16 local jobs.

It includes things like an in-store bakery and Costa Coffee Express machine, while the online home delivery of groceries will become available through Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.

Parcel collection services are available through an InPost Locker and DPD.

An ATM provides access to cash in the community, and customer car parking is also available.

A soft plastic recycle unit is also available in-store.

Lewis Robinson, Co-op Store Manager, said: “The whole team is delighted to have the opportunity to launch Co-op’s newest store – it looks fantastic, and we are really looking forward to welcoming our members and customers into their Co-op.

“Our aim is to operate at the heart of local life, and we have worked to develop the range, choice and added services to create a compelling offer to serve and support our community, conveniently.

“Co-op also has a focus on delivering value, with member price savings across a wide range of everyday essentials so that the people who own our business, our member-owners, benefit every time they shop.”

Co-op’s Bailiff Bridge store opens between 7am-10pm daily.
