An open day has showcased practical steps toward carbon neutrality in manufacturing.
DENSO Marston hosted the event in Shipley, at its factory to share progress and insights on achieving carbon neutrality by 2035 and improving manufacturing sustainability.
Mike Sully, manufacturing engineering senior manager for Denso, said: “For Denso Marston, this was a good opportunity to showcase the progress we’re making in decarbonisation and energy reduction with practical projects, executed with other local stakeholders that we hope others across the region can adopt within their own facilities.

“It was also a great chance for us to listen to and learn from the range of people from Bradford who are genuinely passionate about the district’s industrial decarbonisation.”
The event marked the first anniversary of Bradford Manufacturing Futures (BMF) and was organised by founding manufacturing members in collaboration with partners from the University of Bradford, Bradford Council, CR Plus, and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
